What is SimplyEHS?

SimplyEHS is a compliance product by ESC. It gives organisations ready-to-use EHS Legal Registers covering environmental, health & safety, and selected sustainability requirements across Asia. Every register is built and maintained by ESC's in-country regulatory specialists, backed by over 20 years of regional regulatory experience.

What format is the register provided in, and what does it include?

The register is delivered as an Excel file, ready to use for audit preparation and ISO-aligned management systems. It brings together environmental, health, safety, and selected sustainability regulatory requirements in one file, with each regulation listed alongside its reference details and applicability.

What is the difference between the Full Masterlist and the Industry-Specific register, and why is the Industry-Specific option priced higher?

The Full Masterlist lists every environmental, health, and safety regulation that applies within a country, across all industries. It's the complete picture, and you review it to work out which requirements apply to your operations. The Industry-Specific register is a shorter version of the same country's regulations, narrowed down to the ones relevant to a specific industry, such as manufacturing, technology, or F&B. ESC's consultants do that filtering for you: reviewing the full set of regulations and identifying which ones actually apply to your sector, so you're not sorting through requirements that don't affect your operations. That extra review is why the Industry-Specific register costs more than the Full Masterlist, even though it contains less content. You're not paying for a shorter document, you're paying for a shorter, pre-checked list built by someone who knows the regulations for your industry.

When does my subscription start?

For credit card payments, your subscription starts right after payment goes through. For Pay by Invoice, it starts once ESC has confirmed your payment has been received.

When are quarterly updates provided?

Updates go out at the end of each calendar quarter — March, June, September, and December. This schedule is fixed and doesn't shift based on when you subscribed.

Do I receive the full file during updates?

Yes. Every quarterly update comes as the complete Excel file, not just the changes, with any amendments clearly marked so you can see what's new at a glance.

Does my subscription renew automatically?

If you paid by credit card, yes — your subscription renews automatically each year. We'll email you and show a notice on your dashboard before it renews. If you paid by invoice, your subscription doesn't auto-renew; you'll need to place a new order to continue coverage.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, anytime, through your account settings. You'll keep access and continue receiving updates until your current subscription period ends.

How do I purchase an EHS Legal Register?

Create an account first, so your subscription is linked to your organisation. Then add the register you need to your cart and check out. You can pay by credit card or by invoice.

What happens if I pay by credit card?

Your access is activated immediately after payment goes through, so you can download the register from your dashboard right away. This is the faster option if you're working against an audit deadline or a tight compliance timeline.

What happens if I choose Pay by Invoice?

Your order stays pending until ESC confirms your payment has been received, usually within five business days of payment. Your subscription period starts from that confirmation date, not from when you placed the order.

What currency are subscriptions priced in?

All subscriptions are priced in SGD (Singapore Dollar).

Can my team use the register internally?

Yes. Your subscription is licensed for internal use across your organisation. It's not for redistribution outside your organisation, so please don't share it with other companies.

How can I get clarification on the legal register or updates?

What if my country or industry is not listed, or I need customised coverage?

If we don't currently cover your country or industry, or you need multi-country or specialised regulatory coverage, submit a request through our contact form or the support button on your dashboard. Our team will review your needs and get back to you with the right options.

Does ESC provide EHS audits and inspections services?

Yes. Separate from the SimplyEHS subscription, ESC also offers a range of EHS and risk management services, including EHS compliance audits, inspections, gap assessment, training, and programme development.

Is SimplyEHS a software-platform?

No. SimplyEHS isn't software or a platform. It's an expert-curated compliance product, delivered as an Excel file you can use straight away — no setup or configuration needed.
